Icebreakers for Introverts

We all know that building community with students and colleagues is important and leads to success in the classroom and the workplace. But, using traditional “icebreakers” may cause anxiety for some, or make others feel uncomfortable. Those that are naturally introverted often do not enjoy forced, spontaneous interaction. In this session, we will discuss, brainstorm, and participate in some introvert-friendly team building (note I’m NOT calling them icebreakers) that you can take back to your classroom or department.
