PandaDoc – How to Edit a Sent Document

Need to add or manage recipients on a sent document?

As of October 2023 PandaDoc made it even easier to adjust recipients on a sent document. Follow the PandaDoc steps outlined within their Help Center.

Follow the below steps if you need to adjust content, or if a recipient has already signed and something needs adjusted, or they need to re-sign.

Step 1: Select the document

  1. Go to Documentsselect My Documents on the left hand panel.
  2. Search for the specific document, or filter by sent documents
    You can either search for the specific document you need, or filter based on the status of the document.
  3. Click on the document you need to edit
    Click the specific document you need to edit.

Step 2: Pull the Document Back

  1. Select Actions ⇒ Edit document
    Within the document, select Actions and Edit Document.
  2. A box will pop up – click “Edit Document”
    When the box generates, select "Edit document."

Step 3-A: Make Edits

  1. At this point you can make the necessary edits to your document

Step 3-B: Resend Document

  1. Once your edits are complete, re-send the document by click Send ⇒ Send via email
  2. This will re-route the document to the recipients
    When edits are completed, select the green "Send" button and click Send via email.

Step 3-C: Delete Document

  1. You can delete the document by clicking the three vertical ellipses in the upper panel and selecting “Delete”
    To delete the document, select the three vertical dots/ellipses and then select "Delete."
