Update the billing method value for this section direclty in Colleague. Per email from Registrar 7/19/23: In Colleague, we bill for a term at a time. There are ‘rate tables’ that determine how much to charge for tuition during a term. When Billing Method=T (From Tables), the biller uses the rate tables to calculate a student’s tuition charge. When Billing Method=S (From Section), the biller does not use the rate tables. Instead, it uses whatever you put in the ‘Tuition’ on SECB. So we only allow use of S when we don’t charge tuition for a section. |

Asking them to pay us again doesn’t create the kind of experience we want for our students. This includes requests for Finance to add fees directly to student accounts, as well as requests for student bills to be recalculated after adding a section fee. Please do not add a section fee that was missed as this would cause billing problems. Your department will simply forfeit those funds for the semester. |

| Enforce Online Winter Session Section Number | Warning | ATW2XX can only be used for Winter session courses. There is a rule in the back end of Colleague that allows student to register for only ONE section with a section number that starts with ATW2. Winter students are only allowed to register for one section so this behind the scenes coding prevents them from registering for more than one winter section, but allows them to register for other spring sections. If ATW2 is used in other terms where multiple sections can be taken at the same time, students will not be able to register. |
| HYBR Delivery Method | Hardstop in Coursedog | Sections with delivery method UAHYB must have Other Restriction = HYBRD, Instructional Method = AT-W, Building = HYBR For reporting purposes, the delivery method needs to be UAHYB. Instructional Method must include AT-W or the filter in Course Planner does not work. The Building needs to be HYBR and room the percentage so students are aware that there is an online component and approxiametly how much of the course is hybrid. The HYBRD as an other restriction is also another indicator for when students are registering that the course is Hybrid. |

For variable credit courses, please confirm the Min Credit field is correct. If an instructor is not removed from a cancelled section, the workload report will not show their load accurately. The cancelled section will still count toward load causing issues for both FT and ADJ faculty. If the room is not removed, it could prevent other builders from using the room in Coursedog. |
